Restore Chipped or Gapped Teeth with Bonding
Dental bonding can be used to correct a number of cosmetic or functional dental problems such as, stubborn stains, gaps between the teeth, or uneven or chipped teeth.
How Cosmetic Bonding Works
Cosmetic bonding requires minimal or no use of drilling or anesthetic, meaning it can be done to several teeth during a single session. Dental bonding is a convenient and inexpensive way to achieve a a fabulous smile.
The Procedure
Your cosmetic bonding appointment will take approximately one to two hours, depending on the extent of the work being done. To cover small cracks or gaps, your dentist will apply a natural looking composite resin to the tooth. The resin will then hardened, smoothed and polished.
Maintenance
You will need a little time to adjust to the new shape and size of your teeth following your cosmetic bonding appointment, but it won't take long.
Brush and floss daily, as you did before your dental bonding procedure. Dental bonds do not require any special care.
