Veneers are highly resistant to staining from coffee, tea, or even cigarette smoking. And, there is very little risk of damage to the natural teeth because veneers are very thin.
The Procedure
The veneer procedure is a relatively easy way to improve the appearance of your teeth, and generally requires two dental appointments.
During the first visit, the teeth are lightly buffed to allow for the small added thickness of the veneer. Then a mold is taken of the teeth and sent to the laboratory so your veneers can be created.
Your second visit will take place once the veneers are ready. During this appointment, your dentist will place your custom veneer on the tooth surface and bond it to your natural tooth.
