Our Richmond dentists can use Invisalign to straighten your smile comfortably, without the need for the wires or brackets that come with traditional metal braces. Here's more on how the Invisalign treatment process works.
If you are looking for an orthodontic treatment to straighten your smile without the hassle of metal braces, Invisalign may be ideal for you.
1 - Consultation
The first step in your journey to a straighter smile with Invisalign begins with a consultation. The Invisalign consultation gives your dentist the opportunity to examine your teeth and determine whether you are a good candidate for Invisalign treatment.
If Invisalign is right for you, your dentist will give you a preview of what your smile could look like once your Invisalign treatment is complete.
2 - Personalized Treatment Plan
At the consultation your dentist will take detailed scans and/or impressions of your teeth in order to create your personalized treatment plan. Your Invisalign treatment plan will map out the steps of your treatment throughout the coming months.
3 - Custom Made Aligners
Next your dentist will send the scans and/or impressions of your teeth to Invisalign's manufacturing facility where your aligners will be custom made. Your aligners will be created specifically to fit your teeth and mouth.
Invisalign aligners are made from a clear flexible plastic called called SmartTrack®. All Invisalign's aligners are free from gluten, BPA, and BPS.
4 - Treatment Begins
As soon as your custom aligners are ready, treatment can begin.
Visit your dentist to pickup your aligners. While you're there, your dentist will check the fit of your aligners, show you how to wear them correctly, and answer any questions you may have about your treatment plan.
5 - Live Your Life Without Interruptions
Your aligners are removable! With Invisalign there's no need to miss out on the foods you love, or significantly change your at-home oral hygiene routine.
6 - Nothing Can Stop You Now
Invisalign's clear aligners are so discrete that very few people will even notice that you are straightening your teeth. So, get out there and smile!
